Common questions
A binding estimate guarantees the total price based on the inventory and services listed — the price is the price. A non-binding estimate is the mover’s best guess and can change, though by law a non-binding mover can’t charge you more than 110% of it at delivery. For long-distance, we recommend a binding estimate, in writing.
Per FMCSA rules, every interstate move includes free Released Value Protection ($0.60 per pound per item). You can upgrade to Full Value Protection, where we repair or replace damaged items, for an added charge. We explain both in writing before you choose; full coverage is worth it for valuable shipments.
We’re registered with the FMCSA — USDOT 3194872 and MC-1184026 for interstate authority — and licensed in Colorado (PUC HHG-00471), with cargo and liability insurance. You can verify any interstate mover, including us, at protectyourmove.gov. We also provide the FMCSA “Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move” booklet for interstate moves.
